New Dedicated-Purpose Pool Pump Motors, v5.0 Template

A new Dedicated-Purpose Pool Pump Motors, v5.0 template has been posted on the CCMS web site. This template aligns with the new dedicated-purpose pool pump motor (“DPPPM”) certification requirements in 10 CFR Part 429.65(e)(1) and (2) established in the final rule published on October 9, 2024 at 89 FR 81994, as well as the energy conservation standards in 10 CFR Part 431.485.

This new template may be used immediately, but must be used for all submissions no later than the dates listed below to certify compliance with the energy conservation standards that go into effect on those dates.

          DPPPMs with a total horsepower <0.5: September 29, 2025

          Small-size DPPPMs (0.5 ≤ total horsepower <1.15): September 28, 2027

          Standard-size DPPPMs (1.15 ≤ total horsepower ≤ 5): September 29, 2025
