New Template for Dishwashers to Reflect the Upcoming Revision to Test Procedures and Standards Effective April 23, 2027

Beginning April 23, 2027, a new test procedure and energy and water conservation standards go into effect for dishwashers. The upcoming test procedure is provided at 10 CFR Appendix C2 to Subpart B of Part 430 and the upcoming standards are provided at 10 CFR 430.32(f)(2).

Although submission based on this upcoming test procedure and standards is not required until April 23, 2027, some submitters have expressed a desire to begin submitting prior to that date. Therefore, a new Dishwashers, Appendix C2 – v5.0 template has been posted on the CCMS web site.

Submitters may, but are not required to, begin using this template effective immediately to certify compliance with the standards provided at 10 CFR 430.32(f)(2). All submissions using the “Appendix C2” template will be assessed based on the Appendix C2 test procedure and the April 23, 2027 standards.
